Paços’ Summer Camp Symphony Orchestra intends to serve as an internship, bringing together musicians of various nationalities, while providing ideal conditions for developing orchestral practice com high demand levels. This constitutes an added training opportunity while enabling contacts overseas, within an orchestra-related context. A top-notch orchestra entails an organization involving high-performance musicians, where the individual seamlessly blends in with the group.

Selectional rehearsals are scheduled with teachers experienced in orchestra and chamber music, with the internship to be supervised and directed by Douglas Bostock, Maestro of recognized international artistic merit.

The diversity of cultural standards, languages used, and work methodologies will all be joined by a common link: the universal language that is Music, which is further enhanced via exchanges among peers.

Date and Place of the event

Paços’ Summer Camp Symphony Orchestra will be held on the premises of Academia de Música de Paços de Brandão (Music Academy) and Europarque, from July 3^rd to 9^th.

Final Concert

The Grand Auditorium at EUROPARQUE will serve as the stage chosen to host the Closing Concert of the internship known as Paços’ Summer Camp Symphony Orchestra, on July 9^th at 9:30 p.m.
